On July 19, 2004, CACI International Inc announced that its acquisition of the Defense and Intelligence Group of American Management Systems, Incorporated ("AMS") has been honored by the Northern Virginia Technology Council as part of the "Hottest M&A (Merger & Acquisition) Deal" of the year.
