Item 1.01.  Entry into a Material Definitive Agreement

On July 25, 2007, Buckeye Technologies Inc. issued a press release announcing that it has established a new $200 million senior secured revolving credit facility.  A copy of the press release is attached as exhibit 99.1.

On July 25, 2007, Buckeye Technologies Inc. issued a press release announcing the conference call for fourth quarter results on Wednesday, August 8, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. Central (10:30 Eastern) .  A copy of the press release is attached as exhibit 99.2.
 
On July 25, 2007, Buckeye Technologies Inc. issued a press release announcing that it expects its earnings for the April-June quarter to be in the range of 34-36 cents per share compared to 3 cents per share in the same quarter of the previous year.  A copy of the press release is attached as exhibit 99.3.
