Item 9. Regulation FD Disclosure

     The following information is furnished pursuant to Item 9, “Regulation FD Disclosure” and Item 12, “Disclosure of Results of Operations and Financial Condition.” On April 25, 2003, the AES Corporation issued a press release setting forth expected income per share from continuing operations for the first quarter of 2003 and providing an update on expected parent cash flow and liquidity.
