SAN ANTONIO, TX, December 02, 2022 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Together with their trusted partner, Alabama Military Stability Foundation (ALMSF), MSAN is expanding the Alabama Mentorship-HUB to more military spouses and their families. The Alabama-HUB offers a variety of free programming to military families, with a special focus on military spouse peer-to-peer mentorship. MSAN and ALMSF worked diligently to create and expand the first-of-its-kind Alabama Mentorship-HUB to connect military spouses to leadership and development resources designed to establish future leaders throughout Alabama military communities.
MSAN's flagship programs and areas of focus include:
• Peer-to-Peer Mentorship
• Military Spouse Leadership Development Program
• Virtual Education & Resource Center
• Mental Health & Wellness
• Career & Employment
• New Military Spouses
• Financial Readiness
• Deployment & Reintegration
Not only does the Alabama Mentorship-HUB provide quick, 24/7 access to the above, but MSAN mentors who volunteer in the HUB are trained military spouses who share indispensable, first-hand information related to Alabama, statewide military bases, and local cities. This mentorship nurtures a sense of community and belonging.
Verenice Castillo, Founder, CEO, & President, said this about the launch, "I am proud that this collaboration will continue to bring all branches of military spouses and their families a dedicated Mentorship-HUB experience where they'll have access to peer-to-peer mentorship every day. They'll also have the chance to tap into existing programs and resources in their local and state communities.
We're thrilled to announce that the HUB provides National Guard, Reserve and post 9-11 spouses of Veterans/Retirees, Caregivers and Gold Star/Surviving spouses and their families the support they need and deserve, even if they're not located close to an installation. Military families living in Alabama or who are headed to the state no longer have to struggle to find relevant resources or a community of support."
Jennifer Holliday, Alabama's Military Family Liaison, applauded the expansion of the Alabama Mentorship-HUB, saying, "In Alabama, we want to ensure all military spouses have an opportunity not only to join this first-of-its-kind HUB capability, but to utilize different resources, discussion groups, and mentors, as they progress through their military life experience. We are proud of our collaborative effort with MSAN, and excited for all the new connections military spouses will make in their communities and across Alabama during this second year of the AL-HUB and beyond."
MSAN and ALMSF recognize the privilege and opportunity to serve all military spouses and their families, including National Guard, Reserve, and post 9-11 spouses of Veterans/Retirees, Caregivers and Gold Star/Surviving spouses who previously haven't experienced support at the local or state level. Together, they are excited to bring all military spouses aboard the Alabama Mentorship-HUB to take advantage of full-time support and curated programming. It is the first military spouse program in Alabama to offer 24/7 peer-to-peer mentorship.
The Origins of the Alabama Mentorship-HUB
The Alabama Mentorship-HUB was born from the overwhelming success of MSAN's original military spouse HUB, which currently serves thousands of past and present military spouses. With the addition of the Alabama Mentorship-HUB, MSAN and ALMSF intend to serve tens of thousands more, with the added benefit of tailored resources that fit their lifestyle in Alabama.
