With a career spanning more than 40 years, 25 of which were dedicated to life sciences, Mr. Peerschke is a distinguished professional in the health care industry. Since 2021, he has served as an independent consultant, leveraging his expertise in health care strategy, organizational strategy and transformational strategy to guide senior executives and support performance-driven teams.

Mr. Peerschke's Professional Journey

Before his current position, Mr. Peerschke served as the chief transformational officer at Sobi from 2019 to 2021. In this role, he led initiatives that significantly advanced the company's operations. From 2014 to 2017, he was the senior vice president of customer relations at IQVIA, located in Durham, North Carolina, where he was instrumental in strengthening client relationships and driving business growth.

With an impressive tenure at Bain & Co., spanning from 2003 to 2014, Mr. Peerschke rose from senior partner and head of health care practice Americas to senior partner and head of global health care practice. During this time, he strengthened his skills in health care strategy and organizational transformation. His earlier professional experiences include roles as a senior principal in the health care practice at McKinsey & Co. from 1990 to 2002 and as a senior associate in the oil and gas group at Wasserstein Perella & Co. from 1988 to 1990.

Mr. Peerschke began his career as a salesperson for a wholesale photographic equipment company, a foundational experience that instilled valuable skills in communication and adaptability.

The Foundation for Success

Mr. Peerschke's professional accomplishments were built upon his strong academic foundation. In 1977, he graduated magna cum laude from Rutgers University with a bachelor's degree in political science and a minor in economics. He furthered his education at the NYU Stern School of Business, where he earned a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in finance in 1981.

While Mr. Peerschke has played an instrumental role in transforming research and development organizations into flexible and productive businesses, he is most proud of his work with the government of Argentina. While employed at McKinsey & Co., he collaborated with the Argentine government to privatize their state-owned companies, including the national oil company.

Mr. Peerschke attributes his success to the mentorship he received during his early years and is grateful for his experiences working with and learning from industry leaders. He also acknowledges his former employers at McKinsey & Co. and Bain & Co. for providing him with opportunities early in his career.

Outside of the Office

Outside of his professional ventures, Mr. Peerschke is actively involved in civic-minded organizations and has served as a board member for several companies since 2012. Additionally, he is a member of Beta Gamma Sigma, Phi Beta Kappa and Pi Sigma Alpha.

In his personal time, Mr. Peerschke enjoys spending time with his family, playing tennis, golfing and skiing. Looking to the future, he plans to continue advising senior executives while supporting younger professionals entering leadership roles. While he hopes to be remembered for his professional accomplishments, he also wants to be remembered as a great husband and father who made a positive impact on those around him.
