NW Natural Water Expands in Texas with Two Acquisitions

NW Natural Water Company, LLC (NW Natural Water), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Northwest Natural Holding Company (NYSE:NWN) (NW Natural Holdings), recently signed two agreements to acquire utilities in Southeast Texas, expanding the company’s footprint in the region.

NW Natural Water subsidiaries have executed agreements to acquire assets of Water Necessities & Rural Water near Beaumont, Texas and Caney Creek Utilities in Montgomery, Texas.

The acquisitions are subject to customary closing conditions, including approval by the Public Utility Commission of Texas, and are expected to close in 2022. When all pending acquisitions close, NW Natural Water will serve over 145,000 people through approximately 60,000 connections in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Texas and Arizona.
