Today, SPAN announced two new models of smart panels, SPAN Panel MAIN 40 +MID and SPAN Panel MLO 48, taking a monumental step towards their vision of offering energy management for every home. The panels have 25-50% more breaker spaces than the original SPAN® Panel and include SPAN PowerUp™ software, making any new home all-electric ready with a flexible electrical foundation for their evolving needs. According to builder estimates, the expanded product line can save home builders between $3,000 and $10,000 per site by avoiding the high cost of 400A utility service.
