Moss Announces Chief Legal Officer Transition: Kim Henderson Named Chief Legal Officer

Moss, a top-ranked national construction management firm, announced today that Kim Henderson has been promoted to Chief Legal Officer, effective July 1, 2025. Henderson, who joined Moss in 2017, most recently served as Senior Vice President and General Counsel. She will continue to serve on the company’s Vision Leadership Team (VLT).

As Chief Legal Officer, Henderson will lead the company’s legal strategy across Moss’ growing national operations. She succeeds Bruce Moldow, who will now focus exclusively on his roles as President, Hawaii and Executive Vice President, Safety & Risk—two critical areas where his deep legal and operational expertise continue to advance Moss’ long-term success.

“This transition reflects our thoughtful approach to succession planning and commitment to developing and advancing exceptional talent,” said Scott Moss, CEO of Moss. “Kim is a proven leader whose judgment, integrity, and business insight have earned the respect of our teams across the country. She is exactly the right person to carry our legal function forward. At the same time, Bruce’s continued leadership in our Hawaii region and Safety & Risk ensures we remain grounded in the values that have always defined Moss.”

Henderson brings more than 20 years of legal experience, including a strong background in construction litigation and risk mitigation. Since joining Moss, she has played a key role in aligning legal operations with the company’s broader strategic goals, working closely with both enterprise and regional teams to support execution, reduce risk, and uphold Moss’ culture of accountability and care.

This leadership transition is another example of Moss’ focus on building a strong future by investing in people and planning for growth.
