The company's organic plant-based white chips and organic chocolate chips made with coconut sugar are produced in an allergen-free facility.
CIRANDA, a leading North American supplier of certified organic, non-GMO and fair trade food ingredients, today announced the launch of two new baking chips: organic plant-based white chips and organic chocolate chips made with coconut sugar.
CIRANDA’s new chips are produced in an allergen-free facility and are on trend with current consumer demands1 for plant-based sweets made without dairy.
“We’re hearing more and more from customers who need reliable allergen control, so we’re proud to offer chocolate ingredients made in facilities that are free of the top nine U.S. allergens,” said Mariah Sandkamp, director of marketing, innovation and product for CIRANDA. “These new chips give developers real flexibility to create indulgent products that are also inclusive and aligned with today’s clean-label and dietary expectations.”
Organic Plant-Based White Chips
CIRANDA’s organic plant-based white chips bring a light, creamy element to indulgent treats, such as cookie dough, nutritional bars and snacks, and frozen desserts. These chips deliver smooth texture and delicate sweetness without dairy. The single-origin chips contain 45% cocoa butter and are semi-sweet with subtle notes of vanilla. They are organic, non-GMO, kosher, dairy-free, gluten-free, vegan, and produced in a facility that does not process the top nine U.S. major allergens.
The organic plant-based white chips are made with organic cocoa butter sourced from smallholder farmers along the foothills of the Andes in Peru. The main ingredients, organic cocoa butter and organic cane sugar, are refined in state-of-the-art facilities to achieve their smooth, consistent texture.

Organic Chocolate Chips Made with Coconut Sugar
CIRANDA’s organic chocolate chips with coconut sugar deliver rich, bittersweet flavor. Available as 70% bittersweet chips, this chocolate is crafted with organic cocoa beans from the Andean region of Peru. Subtle fruit and floral notes complement the smooth sweetness of coconut sugar for an elevated taste experience. They are organic, non-GMO, kosher, dairy-free, gluten-free, and produced in a facility that does not process the top nine U.S. major allergens.
Unlike the refining process of cane sugar, coconut sugar goes through a simple evaporation process that preserves more of its natural nutrients and flavor complexity. The chips offer uniform sizing for easy blending and a consistent melt in finished applications.

Upon request, CIRANDA’s organic chocolate is available with Fairtrade America (FLO) certification that may be sold to Fair Trade USA to benefit small-scale farmers. Certification ensures higher crop premiums, safe working conditions, fair wages, among other benefits. Premiums are invested into community projects such as shared tool banks, advanced agro-consultancy, and school or playground improvements for children.
