The National Father’s Day Council’s 84th Annual Luncheon to Be Hosted on June 18th at 583 Park Avenue
The National Father’s Day Council today announced that David Greenberg, Chairman of L’Oréal USA; Mark Weber, iHeart Media host and former luxury industry executive; and Jarrod Weber, Global President, Sports & Lifestyle at Authentic Brands Group, will be honored at the 84th Annual Father of The Year Awards.
The Awards luncheon will take place on Thursday, June 18th at 583 Park Avenue in New York City. Proceeds will benefit Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, which creates and supports one-to-one mentoring relationships that ignite the power and promise of youth.
“Each year, we are proud to recognize fathers whose leadership extends well beyond their professional accomplishments,” said Michael Haskell, CEO & President of The Father’s Day/Mother’s Day Council, Inc. “This year’s honorees have made lasting impacts in their respective industries while demonstrating an unwavering commitment to family, which truly embodies the spirit of this event and the mission it supports.”
David Greenberg, a father of two sons, has built a distinguished career at L’Oréal spanning more than three decades in leadership roles across markets, divisions, brands and functions. In 2022, David was appointed CEO of L’Oréal USA, President of the North America Zone, and a member of the Group’s Executive Committee, the first American to serve in these roles. During his tenure, the U.S. business was the number one growth driver for L’Oréal three years in a row, solidifying its position as the Group’s top market. In January 2026, David assumed the newly created role of Chairman of L'Oréal USA.
Mark Weber, father of two sons, including fellow honoree Jarrod Weber, and the grandfather of three, is the former CEO of Louis Vuitton Moët Hennessy Inc., where he oversaw U.S. operations for the world’s largest French luxury company, and the former CEO of PVH Corp., one of the largest apparel companies in the United States. He is now an author and a radio and podcast host with iHeartMedia, where he shares lessons on business, fashion and life.
Jarrod Weber, a father of two sons, serves as Global President, Sports & Lifestyle at Authentic Brands Group, where he plays an integral role in driving organic brand growth and expansion across its portfolio. Since joining the company in 2014, he has forged well-established relationships and developed Authentic’s network of licensing, distribution and franchise partners, following an earlier career as an attorney specializing in corporate and intellectual property law at Katten Muchin Rosenman LLP.
In addition, the National Father’s Day Council will honor one “All Star Dad,” who will be announced at the event. The “All Star Dad” will be selected from online submissions from family members, friends, and community leaders across the country.
In honor of the 25th anniversary of the Father's Day Fire, the National Father's Day Council will also posthumously recognize three heroic FDNY fathers who made the ultimate sacrifice on Father's Day 2001: Firefighter Harry S. Ford of Rescue 4, Firefighter Brian D. Fahey of Rescue 4, and Firefighter John J. Downing of Ladder 163, who were killed when a propane explosion caused a hardware store to collapse in Astoria, Queens while they were performing firefighting operations. Ford, a 27-year FDNY veteran, left behind three children; Fahey left behind three young sons; and Downing left behind a daughter and son. As we mark 25 years since that tragic Father's Day, we are honored to recognize these brave men whose sacrifice and legacy continue to inspire.
As part of its continued support of meaningful philanthropies dealing with issues affecting mothers, fathers, and children, The National Father’s Day/Mother’s Day Council, Inc. has donated more than $39 million to deserving family-related charities nationwide.
