Creative Biolabs Shells out Latest Update on Autoantibody Microarray Services

The presence of autoantibodies is usually a sign of autoimmune disease. As more research is unveiling their key functions regarding disease diagnostics, follow-up, prognostics, and tailored treatment strategies, autoantibodies have been a focus to analyze biological responses and identification of key factors or disease mechanisms.

To accelerate autoantibody-related research, Creative Biolabs has established a first-class autoantibody microarray platform, and provides a whole set of natural autoantibodies (NAA) detection and analysis services, covering a wide variety of self-antigens, such as cell nuclear components, cytoplasmic proteins, phospholipid proteins, cell-matrix proteins, mucosal/secreted proteins, glomeruli, and other tissue-specific proteins.

Currently, the autoantibody microarray services have been updated to detect the IgM, IgG, IgA, and IgE autoantibodies from serum or other body fluids.

One of the featured services is to detect IgG autoantibody from serum or other body fluids by custom autoantibody microarray. The service cover 4 subclasses of IgG (IgG1, IgG2, IgG3, and IgG4). With a high-throughput platform, experienced scientists at Creative Biolabs are able to detect subclasses of IgG autoantibodies against a broad range of autoantigens with high sensitivity and specificity.

In addition, Creative Biolabs also thinks highly of IgA’s and IgE’s functions in disease diagnosis and treatment research, and has extended the autoantibody microarray service to cover IgA and IgE. This service can simultaneously detect autoreactive IgA and IgE autoantibodies against up to over 100 antigens on each array.

The standard process is as follows:

* Treating the sample with DNase I and incubating the sample with autoantigen array;

* Detecting the autoantibodies binding to the antigens on the array;

* Scanning the arrays with the microarray scanner;

* Analyzing the images using software to generate GPR files;

* Delivering final data containing non-normalized and normalized signal intensity as well as the Signal to Noise Ratio (SNR) for all antigens.

The team values high throughput and multiplicity of the whole workflow, and ensures high sensitivity, high specificity, and high accuracy for every project at a competitive price.
