This unique online workshop will integrate established practices like meditation and mindfulness with unique methodologies that Teacher Tian Lin has pioneered to help people awaken and ascend to a higher state of consciousness.
As Tian Lin himself explained, while many people today covet spiritual enlightenment and self-realization, the path towards this kind of awareness seems more complex than ever to achieve; something he blames on the proliferation of so-called self-help gurus who seek to spread wisdom before they truly obtain knowledge.
In particular, Tian Lin’s teachings reject the now governing assumption that to achieve Samadhi, or a true union with the divine, one must shed what is earthly and creatural; including the fleshiness of the body, relationships with family and friends, and careers.
Rather, Tian Lin advocates that Buddha-nature is in everything. Therefore, in his new three-day workshop—the first of its kind—he will teach his students not to abstain or withdraw from life in order to find the stillness that will allow them to achieve enlightenment, but rather to expand the limits of their body and mind in order to see and feel the Buddha-nature that exists all around them, including within them.
As he described, “True spiritual practice is actually about continuously expanding and challenging the various possibilities of the self. This means that our body and mind should be fully engaged, and at the same time, we should recognize the inherent purity and stillness within.”
