Versatile Beach Utility Cart Maker Shore and Chore Announces: Items Now for Sale

Shore and Chore, an Illinois-based company, brought to market the World’s Most Versatile Utility Cart. The company recently announced that it expects to begin delivering its versatile utility carts to customers in Jan 2023.

The Shore and Chore utility cart was invented out of necessity by Curt Kramer to facilitate his family’s day trips to the shores of Lake Michigan. Faced with the prospect of hauling an increasingly large assortment of items to the beach with every passing year, the Kramer family developed several prototypes for a multifunctional cart that was flexible as well as easy to transport. The breakthrough moment came when they created a prototype with telescoping sides and a removable front and back.

Curt describes how influential this discovery was in his quest to create the perfect utility cart by saying, “My daughters love paddleboarding. Lugging the massive boards down to our favorite spot on the beach was a challenge. One of my ideas, to place the paddle boards horizontally along the sides of the wagon stuck with me. That was the moment when the concept clicked and Shore and Chore came to be. What was developed as a way to simplify our vacation days soon also found a lot of use around our house and the yard. It wasn’t too difficult, then, to see the full potential of what we had developed. With the launch of the Shore and Chore, we want to help millions of other families, and even businesses, out there looking for a sturdy and adaptable utility cart to help them with their most demanding tasks. Please visit the Shore and Chore website to find out more about how you can preorder yours today in time for the first outgoing shipment of 2023.”

The Shore and Chore cart is designed to help families get their boards and all other assorted gear to the beach in one trip. The cart has adjustable pullout sides which provide a secure fit and can be easily adjusted to make room for beach gear such as paddle boards, surfboards, kiteboards, and windsurfing equipment of all sizes. Cart owners can transport 2 boards and still have the entire interior of the cart for the rest of their fun items such as chairs, coolers, umbrellas, and anything else they can imagine. The cart can carry a max cargo weight of 400 pounds and has an optional front stabilizing wheel for additional stability.

The Shore and Chore cart can prove equally useful on worksites or for those with a passion for gardening and yardwork. The pullout sides allow towing vertically oriented items such as ladders, gutters, two-by-fours, light sheeting, cardboard, shovels, rakes, pruners, hoes, and more - common tools for professionals in a wide variety of trades. The interior cage also provides ample room for tools, planters, heavy bags, buckets, hoses, garbage cans, or any other big blocky item needed to get the job done. The sides can expand to allow long vertical pieces larger than the width of the bed to lay flat and then contract and lock into the sides of those pieces to secure them firmly to the cart. Some of the recommended use cases for the Shore and Chore cart include carpentry and woodworking, home repair and maintenance, light construction, and warehouses.

The Shore and Chore cart is available in three packages – Premium, Standard, and Basic. The Basic package includes a set of 4 bungee cords, the Standard package adds a set of side, front, and back slipcovers (Aqua color), and the Premium package also includes a bicycle towing and adapter kit, and a front stabilizer wheel. The side canvas panels are highly durable, waterproof, mold-, mildew-, and fade-resistant, have roomy pockets on each side for additional storage, and have drink holders on the front and back big enough for 20-ounce bottles. More details about the other included accessories can be found on the product page.
