The annual Middle School and High School retreat, Battle of the Sexes, is hosted by Elevate, the student ministry of Milestone Church in McKinney, Texas. Battle of the Sexes teaches students about love, sex, and dating from God's viewpoint (BOTS). Students can experience God's freedom and forgiveness over this unforgettable weekend and learn about who they are in Him. Additionally, students participate in Tribe War competitions, spend the weekend in small groups with friends and leaders, and have special encounters with God during group meetings.

Both the Middle School and High School retreat weekends will be hosted at the Lakeview Camp & Retreat Center in Waxahachie, Texas. For both weekends, students will check in at the Milestone Church Keller campus on Friday at 4:30 p.m. Dinner will be served. Each student must register and pay $160 to attend the Battle of the Sexes weekend. Registration is available on the Milestone Church website and is open to all middle and high school students.
Even if they can just attend a portion of the event, Elevate Student Ministry invites students to take part as much as they can. A time away form that can be found on the Milestone Church website must be filled out in order to arrange drop-off and pick-up if a student arrives late or leaves early from the camp.
Each group will be given a "Tribe" with which to play and compete in a number of challenging and competitive games. Each tribe has a unique color and mascot (such as the Blue Hurricanes, etc.), and students and leaders are encouraged to wear those colors while participating in the events.
