Hydrogen Utopia International CEO says "somebody has to be fearless"

Hydrogen Utopia International PLC (LSE:HUI, OTCQB:HUIPF) CEO Aleksandra Binkowska speaks to Proactive's Thomas Warner following a rollercoaster few months for the business in which its share price first fell to all-time lows before rising sharply this week.

Binkowska sheds light on that increase in the company's share price, which was achieved without a diluting existing investors. Key to her strategy in recent months has been the enlistment of Simon Mann, renowned for his international connections, particularly in Africa and the US. Mann's recent investment in the company underscores his confidence in its direction.

The other significant move for HUI has been its venture into the medical cannabis market in North Macedonia. Partnering with Ohrd Organics, they're producing high-quality, low-cost medical cannabis. Binkowska clarifies that the step into growing medical cannabis is not a distraction but is rather a source of the revenue serving as "fuel" for her primary goal: establishing the first waste plastic-to hydrogen facility.

While Binkowska remains committed to securing EU grants and loans to help fund progress, she says "somebody has to be fearless" and if funding continues to pose a challenge then the business will "just have to use different methods."
