RecycLiCo Battery Materials CEO Zarko Meseldzija joined Steve Darling from Proactive to share news the company and its partner Kemetco Research have hit another milestone, successfully producing bulk quantities of battery-grade lithium carbonate from an industrial feed of cathode scrap.
Meseldzija tells Proactive its Demo Plant has undergone thousands of person-hours over several months to meet rising demand for lithium, which is a key part of batteries for electric vehicles, portable electronics, and energy storage systems.
