(NASDAQ:AIMT), a biopharmaceutical company developing treatments for potentially life-threatening food allergies, today announced the completion of its previously announced underwritten public offering of 5,500,000 shares of its common stock at a price to the public of $32.00 per share. All shares in the offering were sold by Aimmune, with gross proceeds to Aimmune of $176.0 million and net proceeds of approximately $164.2 million, after deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses. In addition, Aimmune has granted the underwriters of the offering a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 825,000 shares of common stock at the public offering price, less underwriting discounts and commissions.
BofA Merrill Lynch, Cantor Fitzgerald & Co. and Piper Jaffray & Co. are acting as joint bookrunning managers for the offering. Credit Suisse and RBC Capital Markets are also acting as bookrunning managers. Roth Capital Partners and Wedbush PacGrow are acting as co-managers for the offering.
