He was involved in last Tuesday’s friendly at Oxford City and trained with United in the days leading up to last Saturday's header against Wycombe wanders FC. The former Stoke City, Coventry City & Cheltenham FC man played only 12 matches last season for Hereford fc after not featuring much in the 2020/21 campaign.
Head coach Karl Robinson wanted more additions in the transfer window including wingers & strikers with the U’s desperately short on both flanks. However, they have now turned to the Free agent market.
Marcus Browne, Tyler Goodrham, Ben Davis and Slavi Spasov have started out wide in United’s first three pre-season friendlies.
The U’s have also lost several wingers this summer, with Ryan Williams and Mark Sykes joining Perth Glory and Bristol City respectively. Meanwhile, Gavin Whyte and Nathan Holland returned to their parent clubs after loan spells.Robinson also wants another striker, & Njie who is a Gambian international will be looking to impress whiles on trial at the club
